About West Coast Martial Arts Academy - El Dorado Hills

Founded in 2004 by 9th-degree black belt Master Gary Merlo and 3rd-degree black belt Tami Merlo, West Coast Martial Arts Academy (WCWMA) has been El Dorado Hills' premier destination for comprehensive martial arts training and self-defense education.

Our Unique Training Approach
At WCWMA, we integrate multiple martial arts disciplines including Grappling, Muay Thai, Boxing, and Self-Defense into a complete MMA program. Our structured curriculum accommodates all skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners, with specialized programs for:
